This is a translucent, wheel-thrown porcelain mug by the acclaimed ceramic artist Antoinette Badenhorst. The artist is known for pushing the limits of porcelain to showcase its inherent qualities of strength, beauty, and translucency.

The mug is made from high-grade porcelain, which when fired becomes glass-like and strong. Antoinette mixes her own porcelain clay body.

It features a V-shape or slightly flared form with an integrated handle. A distinctive feature is the applied, sculpted leaf motif which highlights the movement and flow in her work.

The mugs are designed to be lightweight, strong, microwave safe, and durable in the dishwasher.

Antoinette Badenhorst creates each piece as a one-of-a-kind item, focusing on the energy and movement of nature.
