The title “On Their Shoulders” hints at themes of support, legacy, and elevation. The rugged base represents ancestral or communal strength, lifting the delicate vessel above. It is a striking fusion of elegance and raw texture. It’s crafted from translucent porcelain and designed specifically for narrow spaces, standing at approximately 8.5 inches tall.

The bowl rests atop a sculpted base that evokes natural formations—perhaps ice, stone, or coral. It's rough, organic texture contrasts sharply with the vessel’s polished surface, creating a dynamic interplay between control and chaos. The inside of the bowl is spray-painted to embolden the translucency of the artwork.

Cool tones dominate—white and various shades of blue—enhancing the sense of serenity, introspection, and depth.

This is part of the Ice series.
