This sculptural ceramic piece by Antoinette, titled "Stand Together", is part of her evocative Ice Series—a body of work that explores fragility, resilience, and the quiet power of unity. The upper portion is a hand-built, elongated porcelain bowl with upward-curving edges, suggesting openness or uplift. Its smooth white exterior and soft turquoise interior create a serene, contemplative mood. The bowl rests on a rugged, organic base—also porcelain—designed to resemble ice or coral. The base’s irregular texture and pale blue hues evoke natural formations shaped by time and pressure. Crafted from translucent porcelain, the piece plays with light and shadow, enhancing its ethereal quality. The contrast between the refined bowl and the raw base speaks to dualities: strength and vulnerability, elegance and earthiness. The title “Stand Together” suggests solidarity and mutual support. The base, though rough and uneven, holds the delicate bowl aloft—perhaps a metaphor for community, ancestry, or the unseen forces that sustain us.

This is a one-of-a-kind sculpture.
