Antoinette  Interviews John Shirley, ceramic artist from South Africa

John Shirley studies Ceramic Design and wanted to take his porcelain work to a new level translucency and whiteness so that he can use the canvas  as a backdrop for soluble salt patterns.
He started to slip-cast bone china bowls.
His work is renown.
