Promotion of the wheelthrown porcelain dinnerware online workshop at TeachinArt. Antoinette Badenhorst shows how to use a wooden tool and Mudtools kidneys to shape and form some of the bowls and platters.

Wheel thrown porcelain dinnerware

The wheel-thrown porcelain dinnerware online class is a comprehensive six-week ceramic course, complemented by an additional four weeks of access to video demonstrations. Participants will learn how to create a complete porcelain dinner set (chinaware) on the pottery wheel. The course covers throwing various items, including bowls, plates, mugs, tumblers, goblets, casseroles with different lid styles, gravy boats, candlestick holders, and salt and pepper shakers.

There are certain essentials that is needed to know when designing and making dinnerware. Since we discussed that in detail in the Handbuilding Porcelain Dinnerware e-course, we will not include it again in this class.
