PORCELAIN BY ANTOINETTE

Sculpted wall plates

Antoinette creates her plates using a variety of methods and techniques. Her wall sculptures start with a basic shape that she skillfully alters and carves until the design appears to leap from the wall. Whether the plates are made from slabs, shaped in a press mold, or thrown on a pottery wheel, they are always finished so seamlessly that it's impossible to tell which technique was used. Her plates are lightweight and hang beautifully on the wall.
