Translucent sculpted porcelain envelopes

Porcelain workshops
Picture
Antoinette developed a combination of ceramic techniques, first with her pit fired work and later with translucent porcelain, which resulted in porcelain envelopes.

While she was exploring form and line, she came across images of antique Roman cups. Antique pottery always fascinated her and she was especially blown away with the pieces in the Chicago Museum of Art, which was the first "world museum" she ever visited.  After a second visit to the museum, she realized that those ancient goblets found its way into her own artistry in the form of her envelopes.

Her porcelain envelopes are translucent and suitable for narrow spaces. She teaches these techniques in online as well as hands-on workshops and she sell these one of a kind porcelain sculpted vessels to collectors in her showroom as well ans in the porcelain online gallery.
Translucent Envelopes
These pieces are suitable for narrow spaces like window sills and fireplaces.

Press molded, altered and sculpted translucent porcelain. Antoinette can create something similar, but not exactly the same work, since all her work is one of a kind.
