Pottery classes in Saltillo Mississippi
|
Evening Fall class.
|
After many requests from local people in Tupelo and the surrounding areas, Antoinette decided to resume with teaching pottery in her own pottery studio in Saltillo, Mississippi.
These classes will be offered in 6-8 week courses for beginner, intermediate, and advanced potters. |
In the light of the season, our focus will be, but not limited to, the creation of open bowls, plates and platters. Fall and Christmas themes are easy to make items when working with templates in hand building.
Wheel-throwing is just what it is: you will be introduced to the basics, like someone who learn to drive a car and from there it is all practice. If you are somewhat or completely advanced, Antoinette will meet you on your level.

The programs are divided between beginner and intermediate projects. The program is worked out to systematically ease students from beginner programs to more advanced programs. The topics that will be addressed will either be related to themes throughout the year, or to class programs. Students have to work consecutively through the program to ensure a good outcome. Students will have freedom within the technique that is presented to create. If you skip a class, there will not be a make-up time.
No Refunds: When Antoinette starts to prepare a spot for you, she already invested in you.
